At C.I.M.C. we place a lot of emphasis, both in time and resources, in the teaching and training of children. "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6. We are blessed to have the leadership and resources to enable us to reach out three times each week into the community in which God has placed us.
Sunday School.
Do you ever remember being sent out to Sunday School and not wanting to go?
Did you ever wake up on a Sunday morning excited that it was Sunday and looking forward to getting to church?
The kids at our Sunday School come because they love it. We have a great Sunday School which meets each week at 10am. Primary School ages stay together for the first part where we sing songs, focus on our missionary giving and talk about Bible principles. Then we divide into 2 groups for the second part. This is where there is age-related Bible teaching, memory verses & activities. What a great place to make friends & learn about God!
Seniors meet in the cabin where we have coffee / tea followed by the lesson.
Sunday School is each week from 10am to 11am.

One Way Club
One Way Club is a fantastic children's meeting. It is on each Friday at 6.30pm and usually about 50-60 kids come along. Our leaders were mostly One Way Clubbers themselves and so they know just how to make Friday nights buzz. Each week we have the coolest of songs, Bible verses, amazing stories and usually Max pops in with some words of wisdom. He's a clever little character with a Southern Irish accent
We also have Spencer - pictured below with Wesley. The kids love to see Spencer coming in and he usually has a part to play in the evening.

Throughout the year clubbers gain points by attendance, bringing their membership pass, inviting friends, completing competitions etc. This all goes towards winning prizes at various points in the year.
This club is geared specifically for 4 - 12 year olds. It runs from September to March and then after Easter we have fun nights once a month until the end of June.

Youth Challenge
Y.C. meets each Sunday evening at 7.50pm. Youth Challenge is for those aged 11 and over. We have a great group of young people, who are not only part of the church, but also involved in the work. We follow the course laid out by C.E.F., which gives us a five year cycle of study material.
We also occasionally have C&C or Coffee & Chat. This is where the young people take a night to organise a programme. We've had so much fun with various quizzes and activities. It gives variation in the programme and lets the young people become involved in the organisation.
Sometimes we have a missionary night and at times we run Q&A where the young people submit questions which are answered the following week.
Youth Challenge is a great way to study the Bible and its implications on our lives. After some refreshments we sing a mix of contemporary and older songs. Usually about 35-40 young people attend each Youth Challenge, but there's still room for more.
